History of Chi Angeles Rescue
Back in April of 2014, Janel J Faraci and Panadda Davenport met online after they both pitched in a little money to save a couple of Chis that had been sitting in the Los Angeles City shelters for horrid amounts of time.
They then saw what is called the Los Angeles City Shelter Red List where animals are set for euthanization and that Chis and Pit Bulls were the sad pictures they would see over and over and over again. They began to see 25-50 Chis in danger of being euthanized within 24 hours on this list EVERY DAY!
They did everything in their power to get them out in time and get them into good homes. But they knew - there was no way they could do this on our own - they would never make a dent - never make a difference. So Chi Angeles Rescue was born.
