Nothing was easier! I looked at photos of Chis that were waiting, picked one and told Janel. I made the payment through PayPal and 3 days later picked up my perfect companion at the airport! She is sitting on my shoulder as I type this.

I talked to the ladies at Chi Angeles Rescue about a chihuahua that I had seen and wanted to adopt, they sent the application to me, and before I knew it we was at the airport picking up the very chihuahua I had only seen pictures of. What they do at Chi Angeles Rescue is truly amazing. They are saving these wonderful animals, and the animals are saving the wonderful people who adopt them. Win-Win situation all around. Thank you!!
I had been looking for a chi for a while. Then I saw 2 that I fell in love with at first sight. So I asked Angie Shore what I needed to do. She told me everything I needed to do. I filled out the adoption application. I GOT APPROVED fast. My babies were home the next night. I can't believe it. Thank you so much for bringing them home.
Our story starts with a senior chi at the Baldwin Park shelter. When we called, he had already found a home. A few days later, I saw the most precious angels, Thelma & Louise. I showed my room mate, Georgeanne Hall. She right away said we had to go get them. I contacted Janel J Faraci, got directions, and 2 days later, we were holding our girls. Georgeanne cried as she held them, Thelma and Louise was right at home in my arms.
Almost 2 months ago, on a Friday night I was cruising FaceBook and came upon Chi Angeles Rescue. I immediately contacted 3 of the chi Angels as I like to call them. Within an hour I had an adoption form filled it out and I have been fortunate enough to be rescued by a 6 month old female Chi we call Karma. She has joined her 3 other Chi sisters Kotcha, Meko and Chance. I was familiar with the need for homes for all shelter dogs but did not realize the extent of need for Chihuahuas. My heart was broken looking at those helpless chi's. I live in Washington state and I have rescued chi's before from local rescues but I cannot believe how many chi's are in California. I swear I went thru 20 pages on the site of chihuahuas. Chi Angeles Rescue is a great organization and thanks to them, We now have Karma. Bless you all and bless all the babies still waiting for their fur-ever home. Karma has settled in perfectly and we couldn't love her more.
